Your dog’s regular grooming routine should include regular ear cleaning to keep them healthy and itch free. Use an anti-bacterial ear cleaner to gently wipe your dog’s ear. Be careful to only wipe the outer ear and not irritate the delicate inner ear area.

Keep your dog’s ears free from excess moisture and prevent skin irritation by placing a cotton ball inside your dog’s ears before giving him a bath. Contact your vet if you notice any of these signs: ear discharge, pungent smell from ears, redness, swelling, crusty skin and hair loss.
